How to Ignore Specific Documents Using Groups

To ignore specific documents without ignoring the entire group, you would first separate the unwanted documents from the main batch. To do this, begin by clicking on View Email from the right-hand side of the screen next to the blue Document|Message|Activity toolbar.

From this screen which loads, if you'll click on Group Documents, this will allow you to drag the documents which do not belong from Group 1 to New Group. This will exclude them from the initial group.

Once they are where you would like them to be, click the green Continue button at the top left-hand side of the screen.

Please note, if you see a white lock in the black toolbar which indicates the Group number, this means that there is an active   exception on the load which must be cleared before you can continue  with the above steps.

You will now be viewing the Assign Loads screen; on the left-hand side of the screen you will see Assign Loads to this Document Group. On the right-hand side of the screen you should now have two groups of documents, your original group which needs to be processed and a secondary group which contains only the documents which are irrelevant.

Click on the second group, which should be the one you want to ignore, and on the left-hand side under the Load ID box, click on "Create an exception".

Click on the drop-down box under Exception Description and select Does not need to be processed, then Save without Sending.

It will ask you Are you sure you want to ignore this group? Click Ok.

This will then return you to the load and the documents within the group which you ignored will no longer be visible, while the second group will indicate that it has been ignored.   You can then continue processing as normal.
